I tend to roll my mixture into balls and then flatten them slightly before placing them on the tray however you can just drop rounded tablespoonfuls of mixture onto the tray and they will flatten and spread out whilst cooking

Ingredients
2 1/2 cups plain flour
1 tsp bicarb soda
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 cup brown sugar, firmly packed
1/2 cup white sugar
1 cup butter, softened
2 large eggs
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
1 cup choc chips
2 tablespoons milk

How to make it:
